Welcome homesteaders, gardeners and dreamers to the Manitoba Homesteading Show – a celebration of self-sufficiency, sustainable living, and the timeless skills that bring us closer to the land. We are thrilled to be able to host this incredible event and together, we're about to embark on a journey into the heart of homesteading.
The Homesteading expo is more than just an event; it gathers like-minded individuals, families, and communities who share a passion for a life deeply rooted in nature. Over the the day, we'll explore the rich tapestry of homesteading, from cultivating your food and raising small livestock to mastering traditional crafts and embracing a more off-grid living approach.
Our show is a melting pot of knowledge, inspiration, and hands-on experiences. You'll find expert speakers, interactive presentations, and a marketplace filled with homegrown and made products and useful resources. Whether you're a seasoned homesteader looking to expand your skills, an urban gardener or someone taking the first steps toward a more self-sufficient lifestyle, there's something here for everyone.
Join us and engage with experts who have dedicated themselves to the art of self-reliance and learn practical tips that you can apply to your homesteading journey.
Beyond the presentations and vendors, the Homesteading Event is a space for forging connections and building a community. Share stories, swap ideas, and connect with fellow homesteaders who understand the joys and challenges of this rewarding way of life.
So, whether you're here to gain valuable insights, shop for great local homesteading products, or immerse yourself in the homesteading lifestyle, the MB Homesteading show is your gateway to a world of possibilities.

Back in December, Young's Co Homestead, along with a wonderful group of local farmers and homesteaders, collaborated to create this lovely recipe book, which is now available for purchase.
The cookbook features over 20 recipes crafted by local farmers and homesteaders and is now available in digital format on Etsy for $7.50, here
While it’s not quite Christmas anymore, the recipes in this book are multi-seasonal and would be just as suited to an Easter tablescape as a Christmas feast and it was decided by Sarah from Young's Co Homestead and the other contributors that 40% of the proceeds will be going to the MB Homesteading Show to support their efforts to educate, equip, and connect local homesteaders and their communities.
We are very humbled and grateful for this kind gesture!
